But it is just the beginning, tip of the iceberg. Life is long and experiences are deep and plentiful. Uganda has stolen my heart as I’m here in a tiny mountain village surrounded by banana leaves, smiling eyes, and torrential rainstorms. Education for transformation is the motto of the Arlington Academy of Hope where I spend my mornings, afternoons, and evenings. And that is what we do. My heart is filled everyday with gratitude, love, and joy, because that is what the students feel for AAH and their opportunity at life.
