Introduction | I used to be a graphic artist, and before that majored in theatre, did a teeny time with the Steppenwolf theatre in Chicago. Realized I liked the kids on high school tours a zillion times more than corporate meetings with suits. My type A personality sometimes clashes with my need for random acts of creativity. Traveling by myself abroad is the most empowering thing I've ever done, other than spending every day with cool kids in my classes. I'm prone to klutzy-ness and working long hours. I love existential questions. I would never place a personals ad declaring I like to take long walks in the woods, even though Thoreau is my hero. So is my grandma. I love my boys, my hubby, my dogs, good theatre, sushi, and authentic Thai food. I love figuring out new things. |
