Introduction	In Aug 2011 I underwent Roux-En-Y Gastric Bypass (RNY) and for most of this blog this will be my starting point although written a year later. I started this blog to document my training for the upcoming 2013 Boston Marathon. I am running the marathon in honor of both my parents, Pamela and Raymond whom I lost in 2004 to lung cancer and colon cancer respectively. I am honored to be part of the Dana-Farber Marathon Challenge team (http://www.runDFMC.org/2013/rayf). I am hoping to be inspirational as well as gut wrenchingly honest in all of my post. I will be documenting my training as well as throwing in personal stories along the way as to how I got here and where I might be heading. So please follow me through my struggles, accomplishments and random thoughts along a meandering path that is my journey.
