| Introduction | I spend most of my time working at a Chicago-based publishing house, writing and editing books for children. I’ve written about 100 books for young readers—and am proud to say that my book, Shapes in Sports, received a Starred Review from Booklist in 2010. When I’m not working on a new book, I can usually be found on my sticky mat. I started yoga back in 2001 and I’ve been hooked ever since. I became a Certified Yoga Instructor in 2008, and subsequently attended trainings in Prenatal Yoga and Yoga Therapy. I teach a few times a week, and try to hit as many classes as I can in between.
