| Introduction | Several years ago, I realised with disappointment that I was in fact not living on a 'Truman Show' esque film set; no one was watching me and no one would ever want to. While my life may not be a film, film is still practically my life. There is perhaps nothing better than sitting in a packed cinema with a bucket of popcorn watching a comic book movie, or on a sofa with a carton of Ben & Jerry's, a spoon, and a good comedy or drama. I may not know what makes a film good or bad, but I know when I like it, and whether I enjoy it or not I always want to talk about it. This blog, then, is my way of getting my thoughts on films of the past, present and future somewhere other than in my head. |
