Introduction	I’m a mid-40s technology worker in Silicon Valley. I’m married to a wonderful man, "Beau." Here I’m calling myself Jennifer X, a fairly generic name given my age. I originally started this blog to document my weight loss journey after undergoing lap band surgery in 2008. I wanted the focus to be on health and not just weight loss. After losing a lot of weight, I maintained… and then it slowly came up. My health started to decline in 2011 and hit rock bottom in December 2012. I have my lyme disease and several other co-infections that cause adrenal fatigue. Now my health journey focuses on combatting chronic infections. Then I can focus on weight loss again.
