| Introduction | I am single Christian woman, in my late 40’s and have never been married. I have two dogs (Chihuahuas) who are my babies. Their names are Molly and Little Bear. Fortunately, they only weigh about 5½ lbs each. I am into photography and putting my photos into scrapbook pages in Photoshop. I love it. I spend a lot of time right now learning new things in Photoshop because I am currently jobless. I have a high end point-and-shoot camera but I do use the manual modes. One of these days when finances allow, I will buy an SLR but until then I am happy with what I have. My goal with this Blog is to help myself and hear from anyone else who cares to write me about their experiences either as single people who are no longer young and maybe even to help our married friends to understand something of our singlehood, the joys, triumphs and despairs. Somehow I bet there are a lot of things that are the same as our married friends but there are also some that are uniquely ours. I want to encourage anyone who may still be looking for a life partner to continue looking (if that is what you want) but also to realize that it’s not the end of the world if you remain single. |
