| Introduction | With 20+ years experience teaching and tutoring math students, you'd think that I have nothing left to learn. But I have learned more while teaching my own children, than I ever learned while earning my BA in mathematics or even while teaching in the classroom. Personal tutoring is so different from teaching a room full of students. I love seeing the "lightbulb flash" when a new concept "clicks." I love seeing the confidence in a kid's eyes where before there was defeat. And I really love seeing the grin on his face when he realizes, "Hey, I get this. I'm smart!" |
