| Introduction | Age: 34 Experience: baking since age 6, cooking since age 17. "Cook" or "Baker": both. But personality and portfolio and favorite dishes all lean heavily toward desserts. About me: Likes to try new things, but not very interested in meat. Loves finding new produce. Rarely bakes the same cake twice. Wants to do as much as possible from scratch. Doesn't consider it a recipe if it calls for mixing together items that all came from cans and boxes. Why I blog: I've long taken pictures of my cakes and saved them in a folder, but would often forget what recipe I'd used to make it or what combination of frosting and filling and cake compositions I'd used. I thought a blog would be an easy way for me to keep track of recipes I'd tried and created along with photos and notes for myself, and all the better if someone else wants to use them too! |
