| Introduction | As you might have guessed from the title I'm a scientist. Or hope to be. I think I'll leave the pretension to the people who've already finished their PhDs, I'm only working on mine now. I'm a grad student in physics, specifically in condensed matter. What does that mean really? I look at atoms and other small things. For those more into the area, I'm specialized in molecular electronics, looking at deposited metal films and structures on insulators (alkali halides generally). About me more generally, I play computer games (World of Warcraft, some others), play hockey, volleyball, and occasionally karate when my legs agree with me. This unfortunately is not all that often of late. |
