| Introduction | I'm a 46 year old mother who homeschools one, watches another homeschool herself and sends a third off to the dear little school on the other side of town. I'm a mom trying to come to terms that two of my offspring will be leaving this home and heading out sooner than I can grasp in my heart. I'm a mom who is trying to transition to that fact by slowly letting out the apron strings that bind them to me. |

| Favorite music | This depends on the moment I'm living in at the time I'm living it...but it's hard to not always appreciate Bonnie Raitt, Van Morrison, Casting Crowns, Madeleine Peyroux, Lyle Lovett,old John Hiatt for a road trip and lately Sondre Lerche is quite enjoyable. And that Feist lass has earned a place on this list |
| Favorite books | Last of the Donkey Pilgrims by Kevin O'Hara,The Hills is Lonely by Lillian beckwith(and those that follow), Notes From A Small Island by Bill Bryson(and those which follow), Winnie the Pooh by A.A. Milne(of course!), All Beatrix Potter, The Walls Came Tumbling Down and of course The Bible, especially the book of Genesis, and all the books of the New testament (except if I'm honest, Revelation which is beyond my brain), I Capture The Castle,the Diary of Anne Frank,Miss Suzy (you won't find this one on any required reading lists. In first grade it was the book I checked out of the school library over and over...I recently found a copy at a library book sale and now that dear little gray squirrel has a permanent home on my book shelf. it took 40 years, but it was worth the wait. |
