Introduction	I am 23 years old, currently a senior at California State University, Sacramento majoring in Criminal Justice. I was born in Ventura, CA. My mother is from Tepic, Nayarit, Mexico and my father Long Island, New York. I am interested in bringing awareness to femicide and the injustice that some women face on a day to day basis. I am particularly interested in the feminicide that occurs in Ciudad Juarez and Chihuahua City, Mexico and the injustice, torture, and negligence that has been going on there for many years.
