Do you believe that forks are evolved from spoons?
Did plates evolve from bowls? Or bowls from plates?... No. I believe forks have their own entity. As do spoons. I don't think either of them came from one another, they just happen to be used for very similar things. Not only do I believe that, but I know it with every fiber of my being. Whoever thought of this question didn't think it through very well.
