| Introduction | The human heart is an organ, a metaphor, a charm, a pump, a gift, an electromagnetic entity, and a significant ingredient in pate. It flutters, it stops, it grows, it faints, it bleeds, it burns...but in this cruel world it can be broken. I believed in true love once, like it was the only thing that existed. But then my heart (like so many others) was broken! I woke up a little while later and instead of being defined by that pain, I chose to find true appreciation in life.
