Introduction	Hello and welcome to my blog! My name is Lynn. I live in Saint Paul, MN. where I have been mostly a stay-at-home mom for the past 15 years. I have 4 beautiful children ages 16, 13, 9 and 4. I cook for them and my husband every day from the bottom of my heart. I was born and raised in Bergen, Norway and moved to the US after I married my American husband. I cook mostly typical American food, but with a little sprinkling of my Norwegian heritage here and there. Are you dreading the inevitable question "what's for dinner?" I am tackling this question head on. When you cook every day like me, you sometimes run out of ideas. I work really hard to keep it interesting. I would describe the meals I make as family friendly fine dining. Just because you cook for kids doesn't mean you have to eat kiddie food (like Toy-story Mac and cheese and plain cheese pizza)! I enjoy making things, including food, look nice. I love to explore new recipes and try new twists on familiar meals. I find most of my ideas from a variety of cooking magazines; mainly Cooking Light and Cooks Illustrated. I cook anything that sounds or looks good, making it kid friendly where necessary (usually just less spicy).
