| Introduction | I consider myself a typical mom aspiring to be a Super Mom! Despite my experience with kids I still find myself clueless about a lot of things. This blog will focus on my experiences and lessons as a mom but also share things that I hope will be helpful to others (Moms, Students, Wives, etc.). I will discuss mom life (stories, play time ideas and fun things to do), share favorite recipes, discuss couponing, money saving tips, and working from home (aka cake decorating). I grew up in Missouri and moved with my family to Oklahoma at the end of my sophomore year of high school. My life radically changed as I became a Christian and began living to make disciples. I went to college at Oklahoma State University (Go Pokes!) and graduated in 2005 with BA in Sociology and a minor in religion. After that I came on staff at the Baptist Collegiate Ministry, an organization I was involved with as a student, and worked there for 6 years. In that time I met and married my husband, Cayton, and we had our first Child Madeline in 2011. Isaiah was born in 2014. I am now a stay at home mom and a cake decorator extraordinaire...well, maybe just cake decorator :) |
