| Introduction | Who are we? We are students in the Honors Psychology Program at Temple University. We hail from different parts of the U.S. and the world, but we share in common our thirst for learning and positive transformation. The Psychology Honors Program at our college, is run as a series of advanced classes, and it goes beyond the bounds of the average classroom format. Students are encouraged to view themselves as members of a community, working with each other as interdependent thinkers in a highly competitive academic milieu and interconnected world. Our professor, Dr. Kathy Hirsh-Pasek, serves as both a guide and a co-investigator as we grapple with important issues facing us all and examine these issues through the various paradigmatic lenses of science (psychology). |
