| Introduction | Earl Deliac is an alias and my blogger ID. I blog pseudonymously because for now, I must. I am a communications professional and former academic with roughly 15 years experience as an analyst, researcher, and writer. While I have particular expertise in environmental matters, I have broad intellectual interests in all matters of public policy and political debate. I am a staunchly progressive Midwesterner and who because there is no party that represents the Left in America and because I would otherwise be even further disenfranchised as a resident of Washington, DC, I am a registered Democrat. I started this blog not only as a cathartic release, but also to interject what I hope are thoughtful and informed opinions that might help shape progressive and Democratic stances in public debates. |
