| Introduction | I am a tenor saxophonist and composer/arranger from Seattle. I would describe my political views as those of a social liberal and my philosophical views as those of a secular humanist. Fast approaching are the November elections. I am urging everyone to get involved as soon as possible. There is still plenty of time to brush up on the issues and to make your choices if you haven't already, but don't wait until the last second! Voting is perhaps the most important thing we can do in this country because it is the foundation of our system of government; we choose our leaders and the direction of our nation and world. Therefore, in order for this system to work positively for all of us who will be governed, it is incumbent upon us as citizens to take an active interest and to make informed choices, otherwise we'll get what we pay for! I have endorsed Barack Obama for President and Jay Inslee for the U.S. House of Representatives. |
