IntroductionThe Reformed faith is known for educated believers, most people know that doctrine and application go together for Reformed people and this reputation we have for study and sound doctrine has often led those outside of the faith to label us as all doctrine and no application and that Reformed believers do not evangelize. This is of course unfair and in no way describes the Reformed church today. We do place great emphasis on doctrine and studying Scripture, but this does not excuse us from applying Biblical doctrine to our lives, one of which is evangelism. This blog will try to look at Reformed theology a little closer, getting back to our roots in visiting the Reformation and the Puritans and all along encouraging each other to carry on the idea began 500 years ago in Europe, "Semper Reformandum" (Always Reforming) and to continue to reform, never settling for where we are as the Church and a big part of continuing to be more Christ-centered is the need for on going evangelism, the Greek words "Tharseo" (bold) "Martus" (witness) are the tag words for this blog, the need for each of us to be a "Bold Witness" in a age of apathy where too many have settled for the status quot.
