| Introduction | Heather Siegel is the author of Out From the Underworld: A Memoir, coming in 2015 by Greenpoint Press. She has an M.F.A. in non-fiction from The New School University in New York, and has been published at Salon.com as well as various trade publications. She has been a finalist for San Francisco Writer's Indie Publishing Contest, Kore Press Prose, the PNWA Literary Award in non-fiction, and the Doris Bakwin First Book Award. A multi-creative person, with interests in the arts, health, and beauty, she has founded several small businesses, including a coffeehouse, a cafe', an organic juice bar, and a beauty bar. She currently lives in the woods of Long Island with her husband and daughter in a house full of light. |
