| Introduction | Guru Nanak Dev Mission was established in 1963 with the sole aim of imparting the message of Sikh Gurus to the common man, especially the youth. With this end in view, the Mission provides reading material in the form of tracts, each month in Punjabi, English and Hindi. The Mission is a non-profit organisation and none of its members is a paid employee. Accordingly, the tracts are made available for free distribution at mere cost price. Members of the Mission get the tracts free of charge. At least 18 publications are mailed annually. The Mission has more than 550 publications to its credit till January 2011. This blog is an attempt to digitise and publish online all the tracts which have been published by Guru Nanak Dev Mission. Everyone can now read the tracts online, download them for offline reading, share them with friends, print or distribute them to anyone, anywhere free-of-cost. The Mission calls upon all those interested in preserving (digitizing) and distributing online anything related to Sikh/ Punjab history, literature and culture free-of-cost. |
