For your birthday, your aunt gave you a maple syrup dispenser shaped like a rooster. Please write her a thank-you note:
I never eat pancakes or waffles, but I would love to have a rooster-shaped syrup dispenser! As for the thank-you, I would thank her on the spot, go home planning to write a note, and then never actually write one because I never follow through with things like that. Even if I DID write one, I probably would never get around to mailing it and eventually throw it away when I cleaned out my car.
