| Introduction | I am living in North Yorks with my wife and Daughter. In September 1999 I was diagnosed as having ME about six months after my daughter was born. I had to give up work and most of my hobbies fortunatly I could fall back my spinning wheel and could spin yarn and make a few simple looms like a triloom and weavettes. 2003 Xmas time I became seriously ill with dilated cardiomyopathy and had to have a Heart Transplant in Jan 2004 as my heart had swollen and was leaking at the valves. A very traumatic time for both my wife and daughter. After the operation I was much better than I had been since I went down with ME. I still suffer from ME but I can cope better health wise but still have to take rests and not over do things. Now I can enjoy life more than just before my Transplant. Well time trundles on and so do I. |
