| Introduction | I am a busy mom to three wonderfully fun and loving children. My youngest, Sylas, was born 4/22/09. He is like a rainbow to our family, as he brightens our days despite whatever "weather" we have going on. We discovered prenatally that Sylas has Trisomy 21(aka Down syndrome) which blesses him with an extra chromosome. This blog was started a few months after we were given Sylas' diagnosis. We wanted to give friends and family updates and information about how the pregnancy progressed. Now that Sylas has joined our family, we have decided to continue the blog to share the exciting journey we are on and bring about awareness of how children with DS make this world a better place. |
