Introduction Ronalee Bennett Orr is a farm girl,an educator and an amateur historian. She graduated from the University of Lethbridge with a B Ed, a diploma in Early Childhood Education and later a Masters degree in Educational Leadership. After several years at home with her children, Ronalee returned to the classroom as an elementary teacher, teaching a variety of subjects from Kindergarten to Grade 9. Of her 25 years as a public educator, she spent the last fourteen as a school administrator. Throughout her career, she worked with Blackfoot students from the Blood and Piikani Reservations, as well as with Hutterite students attending school on their home colonies. Ronalee and her husband, Monty, have five children, eight grandchildren and most recently became great grandparents for the first time. The Orr's have lived at the real Windy Rafters farm for the past forty years, where they have renovated the hundred-year-old barn, which is now an events venue for weddings, school field trips and other community events.
Interests Ronalee enjoys cooking, playing the piano, gardening, sewing and most of all reading.
