IntroductionLord Alaric Thorne Born: April 6, 1792 – Thorne Manor, Blackthorn Hollow I was born in the spring of 1792, beneath a blood moon and a blackthorn tree. My father was a man of order. My mother was a woman of whispers. I loved them both, and they taught me everything except how to survive the curse they left behind. I am the last living Thorne. Though I have not been alive for a very long time. I sleep little. I dream often. And lately, I have begun to remember things I should not: Names I was never taught. Places buried beneath the manor. A voice—hers—that never learned how to die. This blog is not a history. It is a reckoning.
