Introduction Founder & Professor of Information Ecology, Information Habitat: Where Information Lives - a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) in Special Consutative Status wth the United Nations Economic and Social Council; Chair, Information & Communications Sub-Committee, NGO Committee on Education of CONGO - the Conference Of Non-Govermental Organizations in Consultative Relationship with the United Nations - and Co-Chair of the Research, Communications & Website Sub-Committee of the Planning Committee for the 61st Annual DPI/NGO Conference, to be held 3-5 September, 2008 in Paris, France in honour of the 60th Anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. A passionate urban gardener & composter he is also an active member of La Perla Garden, 105th & Columbus, NY, NY, where he finds sanctuary managing the compost pile and practicing down-to-earth taoist landscaping & ecological restoration. A grandfather, with two granddaughters, he has a special love for children & children's books.
