Introduction I am the mom to 3 kiddos 24, 18, and 12. Our youngest is adopted and is Autistic. I became involved in the special needs community when my husband and I decided that our nest wasn’t quite full. We began fostering and decided we wanted children in the Intensive Treatment Program. Ultimately we adopted our youngest. Our two oldest are now out of the house living their best lives, my days are still filled with supporting my little one, but with the other 2 gone I have time on my hands, I was encouraged to become a SB by my daughter’s Amazing broker! Her case load is full and she felt that my life experience would make me a good broker. While fostering I became experienced with IEP’s, therapy practices, resources, and navigating “the system”. My work experience is in admin, HR, and accounting. The job duties of a support broker perfectly meld my experiences together. One of my biggest frustrations is knowing there is “help” out there yet it seems the information is so hard to access. Having a child with challenges similar to ones your family deals with, I understand what you are going through.
Interests I am an independent support broker with the Idaho Developmental Disability Program. I work with the Family Directed Program for Children. I am currently taking new clients and I would love to work with your family & support you with your child's needs.
