Introduction My primary focus is on knowledge. Sharing knowledge is the critical basis for success, best expressed through knowledge services, the management and leadership methodology that converges information management, knowledge management, and strategic learning. If I had a motivating philosophy in life, it would be to use knowledge services to build and to sustain a knowledge culture for all of society. My latest book is a personal and professional journey in knowledge sharing through knowledge services. The book — "Knowledge Services: A Strategic Framework for the 21st Century Organization" — has been written to expand on that theme. In the book I acknowledge the success of knowledge services and assert that the practice has become a recognized framework for strategic knowledge management applicable in all organizations and communities.
Interests music (especially opera), reading, knowledge use and the role of knowledge in society's future, good friends and their interests
Favorite Music Almost all classical music, instrumental or vocal, but especially focused on the great romantics. Mahler, Strauss, and Wagner play a large role in my intellectual pleasures, but any well-sung and produced opera will bring me joy.
Favorite Books Too many to name, and not sure there can be a favorite for someone who reads as much as I read. Faulkner (all), Tolstoy ("War and Peace"), biographies, European and American history 1920 - date.
