| Introduction | I teach science and I enjoy my work. My days of high energy outdoor exercise are behind me but I still enjoy doing almost anything outside. I am newly and happily married. I have no children of my own but I do have three teenage step kids. I am a dog person. I love winter. |

| Favorite music | Its very difficult to choose. My tastes expand as I get older. I have more music by the MPE band than any other artist. |
| Favorite books | I enjoy almost all reading. Right now I am reading a lot of mysteries. Off the top of my head some books I have considered excellent include, The Shipping News, Crossing to Safety, There Eyes were Watching God, My Antonia, A Farewell To Arms, the first Harry Potter. |
