| Introduction | I'm just Jeff. My first calling in life is being a husband and father. There is nothing in this world that is greater than those two privileges. I've also been a pastor for over 20 years, and for a time I was a radio disc jockey (the Light 95.9 FM in Canton!),a factory worker, and now I'm the Executive Director of The Liberty Committee. I'm looking forward to doing everything I can to see that we get some honest people in office. Our nation needs people who are committed to the cause of protecting life, liberty, property, and the pursuit of happiness. |
| Interests | Running, hiking, biking, any form of exercise. Cooking with my family. Going to little hole-in the wall restaurants (the spicier the food the better--Indian, Thai, Chinese, Mexican--and of course I love Italian food and anything that's Southern cooking). Just don't feed me eggplant or bananas! Shopping with my wife in little "mom and pop" grocery stores or hardware stores. Studying any kind of history. Long walks in deep woods or along the shore is wonderful. I stay away from all amusement parks if I can help it. |
| Favorite movies | I don't watch that many--but I liked Braveheart, Glory, Apollo 13, Gods and Generals, Gladiator, and the Patriot. The only "chick flicks" I like are Ann of Green Gables, and the American Girl series ("Molly" and "Kit") with my daughter. |
| Favorite music | Nat King Cole, Credence Clearwater Revival, anything by Diana Ross and the Supremes, Aretha Franklin, Simon & Garfunkel, the Beatles, and anything by Mack Powell and Third Day |
| Favorite books | No fiction. I like only things that are real. Biographies of people who have overcome great odds in their life. It can be an athlete, an educator, inventor or military person. Just has to be real. |
