| Introduction | Risqué, Outrageous, Original and Downright Dangerous "Lucha Britannia" is a comedy cabaret show set in an ‘Orwellian’ near future called the ‘Retrofutureverse’. In the aftermath of the ‘Great Lucha Wars’, the ‘United Resistance Movement’ (URM) were splintered & forced underground. They built a comedy/variety/cabaret/wrestling show within which they housed their secret meetings & new Lucha Resistance recruitment drive. “Lucha Britannia” features a mixture of British world of sport & Mexican Lucha Libre style wrestling along with unique characters & performers including magicians, comics, dancers, freak show carnie acts & sexy Luchadoras. Most of the action takes place in the ring & loosely tells the story of hiding from ‘The State’, who have taken over the whole world & banned all forms of entertainment that they don't control. LUCHA BRITANNIA CAN BREAK THE SILENCE !!! |
