| Introduction | I’m a married woman, living in Florida with my husband and two dogs. I'm a foodie who enjoys a good glass of wine, and although I don't like to put a label on it, I'm a "cheating vegetarian". (Read my blog post from October 29, 2012 to find out what that is and about the reasons why.) I try to limit processed foods and stay away from fast food. I used to exercise to look good in a bathing suit, but now it's to be healthy and not to necessarily live a long life, but a high-quality life. I'm a person who knows a little bit about a lot of things, but not a lot about anything. No, really - it's true! I guess a "Jill of all trades, an expert of none" is an accurate way to describe me! I've done a lot of different things throughout my working career which allowed me to learn about industries I would've never known anything about. And I have a lot of interests and will often try new things, take up new hobbies or enroll in a class like photography, pottery, or rowing. Plus, I watch a lot of TV! (That was meant to be a little humorous, but I hate to admit I probably watch TV more than I should.) |
| Interests | I enjoy traveling, cooking, riding thrill-rides, listening to great music, finding a good bargain, learning new things, and being around interesting people. There aren't many things I won't try as long as it doesn't involve eating bugs or slugs. |
