| Introduction | I'm living a life that wasn't part of my plan, having been blindsided by a rare facial pain disorder called Trigeminal Neuralgia in 2005. However, God has opened up a whole new world to me, allowing me to experience just how much He cares about hurting people, and giving me a desire to help. I am also a mom to three young adult children, and relieved of the pressure from feeling responsible for "how they will turn out"--yah! Married for over 30 years to my high school sweetheart who has been my best friend and also a rock through these years of illness. I am also terribly ADD, so much of my day is spent forgetting what I was doing because I am distracted by other things! |
| Interests | Talking with a good friend over bagels and coffee at Panerta's about nothing in particular, painting (my new thing is painting on silk), gardening (although my yard doesn't show it!), kayaking with my husband-particularly at among the dolphins at Virginia Beach, being "Mimi" to my grandbaby, and writing, writing, writing! |
