| Introduction | IBWAM was founded in the summer of 2009 when two high school students (Maria and Clarissa) decided to do something interesting during the long summer days. And so IBWAM was started. A list of bands we're promoting (as well as their music!) can be found on www.myspace.com/IndieBandsWithaMission. We also run an etsy store (www.IBWAMStore.etsy.com) where handmade goods made by volunteers are sold as fundraisers. Upon the creation of IBWAM, Maria, one of the co-founders had to move because of her family's job to Pasadena, California. She now runs this blogger and the etsy account. |
