About me

IntroductionI began this blog writing for myself as we were coming up on my stillborn son, Josiah's, first birthday - I had things I just had to get out and learned that writing is how I do that. As I write, I grieve, and I process. But I also share, . I share my story, my thoughts, and anything else you see here. Sometimes it's about grief because stillbirth seems to be a thing no one talks about, but it is a grief I need to share, I hope this is the only way people know about stillbirth, miscarriage or the loss of a baby, but the reality and tragedy is, it's not the case, we all know someone, or in the worst cases, are that someone. Sometimes it's about things that get under my skin. Sometimes it's because I feel God working in me in a way that can only come out as words on this blog. I am a 28-years-old wife, mother, daughter, sister, diaconal minister, servant leader and child of God. I enjoy being creative, cooking and travelling (although I don't do any of these as often as I'd like - but that's how most hobbies go) The name for this blog comes from wise words shared by a professor after Josiah died. God gives grace freely, but so often we charge ourselves quite a lot to accept it.
