| Introduction | My political ideology can be easily defined. I am a liberal, through and through. You might even call me a "staunch" liberal. Shockingly, I haven't become disillusioned by politics yet and I remain strangely optimistic. I am a firm believer in the need for a progressive and forward-moving government that adjusts to the changing cultural landscape in Texas (and the US) to ensure equality. Funny, then, that I live in Texas when that isn't the general practice of the Texas government. But, this is Austin. And, I love the overall "blueness" of the city's political make-up. Most of my political activity has been focused more closely on the national level (presidential primaries and elections). Ultimately, I strive to broaden my political scope by incorporating state and local government in my pursuits. Currently, I am a student at ACC with UT aspirations. I am an avid reader, runner and live music seer. I also love all things food related, especially eating. This fuels my belief that you should try to devour everything you do. |
