Boy Scout Popcorn Sale Tips and Tricks

Introduction	My name is Elian Rubin. I am an Eagle Scout (with two Palms) and I have been in scouting since 1st grade. I am a member of Boy Scout Troop 40, Venturing Crew 4385 and Order of the Arrow Ajapeu Lodge (Brotherhood). I volunteer as a Den Chief with Cub Scout Pack 43 and Cub Scout Day Camp and I recently served as Assistant Senior Patrol Leader for National Jamboree Troop 1422. My Eagle Project provided enhancements to the cat rooms at a local animal shelter. We installed 60 Lucite signs that we cut to size to display information about each cat waiting to be adopted. We also installed three bird feeders outside the windows. I have been selling popcorn to raise money for scouting for seven years. Over this time, I have sold over $100,000 of popcorn and have raised over $70,000 for local scouts. For the past five years, thanks to the help of all of my customers, I have been one of the top sellers in the country. I do almost all of my sales door-to-door and at Show & Sells.
