| Introduction | I am a wife, a mother,a grandmother, and a Certified Peer Specialist. By the grace of God I have a B.S. in Ministry Studies and an M.A. in Professional Counseling and Christian Theology with a specialization in Spirituality and Counseling. I have over 5 years experience in the mental health field and over 1800 hours in face to face contact. I have to say I am more proud of my certification as a Peer Specialist than any of my other degrees. It takes a certain amount of courage to come out of the mental health closet, so to speak. I am also a graduate of the RESPECT Institute. I could have done none of this without my Savior. |
