| Introduction | I am currently working at Nedbank Corporate and Investment Bank (NCIB). I work in the Financial Institutions team, where most of our clients are some of the biggest Insurers and Asset Managers on the continent. My role as an analyst involves assisting bankers, through in depth research, to source more revenue from existing clients and to use my research skills to find new clients and revenue streams. In my role I have learned to be an effective facilitator because in coverage we are the middlemen between clients and the Bank, ensuring that client needs are accurately communicated, in a timely manner, to the appropriate internal stakeholders, while also contributing to the management of deals from inception to financial close. Prior to this role, I completed my MCom Econometrics degree at the University of Pretoria with distinction. During my studies, I have been equipped with the skills to sort and manage economic data of all types. I am proficient in working with any data in various formats, manipulate it in specific ways (through complex econometric models), analyse and interpret it. |
