About me

LocationMidwest, United States
IntroductionOkay - so that picture is of Princess Anne, not me. But doesn't she look good?! I'm a writer so I'm used to taking on alter egos. My fiction work includes medieval romance and women's fiction. My non-fiction work includes freelancing for a regional business weekly and as a contributing editor for a professional trade newsletter. When I was a little girl, my mother would read to my older sisters and me each night before bed. I particularly remember the Little House series by Laura Ingalls Wilder. There were always books in our house and I don't remember a time when I didn't have a library card. I learned the wonder of stories that transport you into other worlds, other lives. As I got older, I learned that you can learn about anything in a book and the library became my first stop anytime I wanted to learn about something new. That love of reading a good story turned into a love of writing a good story. I learned to pour my fears and triumphs into characters on the page. This blog is a way for me to share both my own stories and those the stories of others. You're invited to share to your favorites too. So many books . . . so little time.
