Introduction | I have CF (cystic fibrosis). For most of my life I've been really healthy, which I attribute to riding horses for more than half of it. Once I began attending college, I wasn't able to continue riding. Sophomore year was when I began really noticing the difference in my health and how much worse it was gradually getting. On June 11, 2008 I was listed on the University of Minnesota-Fairview's double lung transplant list and on October 30, 2010 I received my new lungs. Now I am in Minneapolis recovering until my new lungs have decided they're comfortable in my body! Follow my journey as I continue life with this miraculous gift. |
