| Introduction | Alan and I met on November the 13th of 1992. (It was a friday so we consider Friday the 13th a lucky day for us!) We were at a church lock-in. He told his friend that I was going to be his girlfriend. I had a boyfriend at the time but he lived out of town. Needless to say I broke up with my boyfriend and we were officially dating by December 11th of that year. We dated all through high school and were married on August 10, 1996. We were both only 19. In 1999 I was surprised to find out that I was pregant and on October 22nd Christian was born. He was the first boy on my side of the family so he was very spoiled. In 2002 Peyton joined our family. My due date for him was January 8, 2003 but since I am a diabetic I knew that he would be early. Mid December I kept praying to God to let Peyton come but on Christmas day he still had not come. I then prayed that he waited at least one more day because who wants their birthday to be on Christmas? My prayers were answered that day because Peyton waited until December 27th to be born. This is our family... a wonderful family of 4!!!! |
