Introduction	I am a solo Pastor of Wellsburg Reformed Church in Wellsburg, IA which is affiliated with the Reformed Church in America (RCA) denomination. I received my pastoral education & training at Western Theological Seminary in Holland, MI and began my pastorate here in May 2010. I am married to a beautiful woman whom I praise God for daily. We have both a 3-year-old daughter named Carrie and a 1-year-old boy named Caleb. My favorite concept & theme throughout all of Scripture is “Redemption”. That is the work God has been hard at work doing since the day of the fall, and which He fulfilled and is bringing into total completion in Jesus Christ. Myself, personally, I have been redeemed and set on a path of being made new ever since that day I discovered Christ & the Gospel and began following Him. The purpose of this blog is a means to share the redemptive nature of God in His steadfast love, sovereignty, grace, power, and faithfulness. It is also a place for me to share sermons, pastoral musings, reflections, and life & family occurrences. I hope you will join me in my thoughts & experiences here, be encouraged (maybe even inspired), and encounter God through this site.
