| Introduction | It Takes A Village To Make Records is a Lansing, MI-based independent record label founded in 2006. ITAV works with a wide variety of musicians with an eye toward the visual and the esperimental. Established by graphic designer/musician Peter Richards (Stargrazer/The Nanobots), ITAV's catalog has slowly bloomed into a diverse and intriguing collection of aesthetes and explorers. ITAV works side-by-side with other mid-Michigan independent labels, steadily releasing compilations, EPs, tributes, and their much-lauded "3 artists/3 songs/3 bucks" series of digital singles.
