| Introduction | I don’t own a personal label maker. Sometimes I forget where I park. I like to stay up really late. I love my mom. I like to go outside late at night and sing under the stars. I wish someone brilliant and charismatic would run on the Republican ticket. I miss my dad. Sometimes I play dumb so that "know it all" people will feel smarter. I like to be in my car all by myself. I still like to play pretend. I am certain that the best tool in the world is a nice pair of tweezers. I get frustrated with selfish, irresponsible parents who complain when their children are selfish and irresponsible. I’m not very graceful. I like watching a candle burn. Sometimes I think I am a genius. Later I wonder how I could be so dumb. I don’t like canned green beans. I have been known to laugh until I see black spots and can’t catch my breath. I’ve even spewed diet coke from my nose a time or two. I don’t like it when people don’t like me. I prefer dogs to cats because I like a cheerful greeting. Sometimes I cry for no reason at all. I’m still not certain what I want to be when I grow up. I learn new things from people much younger than myself. Daisies make me smile. |
