About me

Introduction	I've spent my career developing software, first for Bell Labs, and then for various outfits, large and small. These days I'm writing novels, the first of which is Bernie's Bar & Girll. I've written textbooks, the best of known of which is Advanced UNIX Programming, which is still in print. I also have a couple of dozen apps for Windows, MacOS, and iOS, most of which are photography related. They're at basepath.com. I live in Boulder, Colorado, where I've been for the last 30+ years, after migrating west from the east coast.
