Introduction I grew up in Texas where we fried eggs on the sidewalk in summer, loved water skiing, and diving and still have life-long friends there. Eventually migrated to California as a flower child, and on to Alaska in the 1970's. I have loved and aged to this point and I am ready to head back to the desert. ,....soon.
Interests beading, my 4 dogs, roaming, seeking knowledge and awareness, loving those in my life, reading, writing, drawing cartoons, the desert, adobe houses, beautiful buildings, my 84 year old breast cancer surviving mom, poetry, Buddha, and his teachings, proverbs and great quotes, my cocketiel "Giddy Bird", Mexican food, great bar-b-que, close friends, my daughter, grandkids, taking college classes, English, learning computer skills and playing on my computer, all things African, handmade African beads, a good bead class, amassing new beads, and designing bead embroidery projects.
