| Introduction | Basically I'm a code janitor with tenure (software engineer / systems analyst / application developer) with over 2 decades of experience. I enjoy software design especially dealing with database systems and systems integration. When not creating my own pile of goo I regularly get to sweep up messes in Java, Python, Jython, SQL, C, PERL, PHP, UNIX Shells and HTML. I have toiled and explored the paths of UNIX/Linux, Multics and I even do Windows. People say I have a knack at re-engineering, optimizing legacy applications as well as database tuning. Which is odd for a Navy trained lad although I have also gotten the revered papers of education from the University of Phoenix (BSIT 3.92 GPA) and from Oracle, Novell, USENIX, and others. |
